Things have finally come full circle.
I'm spending my last night in this room that I've called home for the past two semesters.
Its completely empty now except for my laptop, and I'm sitting down typing away nursing a slight headache from downing 2 pints at the union. It seems strange, because I had a slight headache and was slightly inebriated too, when I touched down in Madison 9 months ago.
But anyway, I'd be moving upstairs to room with Jaby. After that absolutely shitty roommate of mine, I can't stand the unpredictabiliy of having new roommates and having to adjust to them. Come Fall 2004 I'd barely have time to do that, and so I'd be moving up and living with someone whom I know well enough and where I can be freeer.
By the way, the one thing really good about Wisconsin is that the student union serves alcohol. Not that thats a big deal, but the terrace overlooking Lake Mendota is absolutely stunning. I wish I had a camera, because the sunset was spectacular. A pint of Woodchuck and a sunset, makes the end of this half nice/half shit semester rather fitting.
