The 4 kgs i've put on since home is having an effect on my biking. The day after I arrived, I cycled to the lab to do some stuff. There is a rather steep hill on Linden Drive that I must climb up before I reach the lab. Usually, its a breeze, because the bike is built for that, but I struggled to climb it that day. Couldn't extract any power from my legs, whilte my lungs were bursting by the time i reached halfway point.
I guess thats the tradeoff of eating too much.
I wonder whether I can still climb that hill when i come back in december after a few weeks of eating. Factor in the snow and the strong headwind, I think I'd end up with a heart attack.

This sucks.
My laptop is packed and I'm all ready to go. My flight is at 6 am and that means I have to be up at 3 to check in at around 4 am.
I don't feel excited about going back.
Life's too good here.
Apart from the humidity, it actually feels like I belong here.
Over there, theres always something missing. I don't know what's missing, but hell, its making my life miserable.
Have to keep myself busy, but then I'd be complaining that I'd be too busy.
I feel like what I have always felt like for the past two years in NS.
The absolutely desolate and hopeless feeling I always get just before I leave home to book in to Seletar Camp every sunday night, where shit will be ladelled to you by the dozen the following week.
Only that the shit now will last for 8 freaking months.
.. Can't wait for december to come.

Its the end of my ten days back home.
